Many acquaintances were surprised at how much a future mother’s appearance can change.

After giving birth, her skin gradually began to recover, and her overall well-being improved. 

The woman recalls that these 9 months were a real challenge for her.

The changes in her appearance were accompanied by discomfort and increased attention from others.

Today, she continues her recovery and is happy to see her familiar reflection in the mirror again.

28-year-old Malaysian Farah Faizal had expected pregnancy to bring her joy and excitement.

Instead, every day she saw an increasingly unfamiliar face in the mirror.

Her skin changed literally before her eyes: first redness and small pimples appeared,

which later developed into painful inflammations.

Her face became swollen, deep wrinkles appeared, and her facial features became noticeably harsher.

Even her nose and ears looked bigger than before.

Many who saw her during pregnancy could hardly believe it was the same woman as in the “before” photos.

Doctors suspected the cause could be a rare form of rosacea – a severe inflammatory

skin condition that sometimes occurs during pregnancy due to hormonal changes.

She describes these nine months as “chaos”: physical discomfort, pain, c

onstant attention from others, and low self-esteem.

The only bright spot was the support of her husband,

who reminded her every day that she was still beautiful and strong.

After giving birth,

her skin gradually began to recover: the inflammations faded,

and the redness diminished.

And although the recovery process is still ongoing,

Farah recognizes herself in the mirror again.
