Flash floods on July 4 devastated parts of Texas, leaving at least 50 d**d,
including 15 children.
Among the victims was 27-year-old Julian Ryan of Kerr County,
who sacrificed his life to save his fiancée,
their two children, and his mother
. When floodwaters engulfed their trailer home in Ingram,
Ryan broke a window
to get his family to safety, slicing an artery in his arm.
Despite severe bl0*d loss
, he helped everyone escape to the roof. His fiancée,
Christina Wilson, said his final words were,
“Sorry I’m not going to make it. I love y’all.”
Ryan’s family called him the “hero of this story”
and urged improvements in flood warning systems
. Texas officials, including Gov.
Greg Abbott and President Trump,
pledged full support for rescue and recovery efforts.
