Donald Trump abruptly ended his speech due to a medical emergency

President Donald Trump was forced to cut his speech

short during a White House press conference due to a medical emergency.

At the time, Trump was swearing in TV personality,

Dr. Memhet Oz, who will serve as the administrator

for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

(CMS) during Trump’s presidency.

The reason Press Secretary Karoline

Leavitt terminated the briefing and asked the reporters

to vacate the room was because

a girl collapsed during the ceremony, the Irish Star reported.

The White House later confirmed that a

“minor family member” fainted during the ceremony, adding they were now fine.

The statement read,

“A minor family member fainted during

Dr Oz’s swearing in ceremony in the Oval Office.

We are happy to say she is OK.”
