Grandma and Grandpa were enjoying time with their family while staying overnight at their son’s house.
Grandpa discovered a bottle of V pills in the medicine cabinet while they were there.
He asked his son if he could try one of the pills because he was curious about them.
After hesitating, his son said, “Dad, I don’t think you should take one.
They are highly costly and powerful. Grandpa was intrigued and asked, “How much do they cost?” The son clarified, “They’re $10.00 each.”
He was shocked to discover $110 hidden beneath the pillow.
He shouted to Grandpa, bewildered, “I told you each pill was $10, not $110!” “I know, but I wanted to make sure I had enough for the experience,” Grandpa said with a laugh.
Even though it meant spending more than he had planned, the son couldn’t help but smile at his father’s perseverance and spirit of adventure.
