Henry Rodriguez, a 37-year-old tattoo artist from Venezuela, became known around the world for his extreme transformation.

He had part of his nose removed, tattooed his eyeballs, covered his face with designs, and added tattoos and implants to his forehead and eyebrows – all to resemble his 7-year-old son’s favorite superhero.

Henry admits the changes weren’t just painful, but truly agonizing. But to him, the pain was part of the path to his dream.

He says he doesn’t regret anything. All he wants is to see his son look at him with admiration and call him “Super Dad.”

“I want him to be proud of me. I’m not just a dad – I’m a hero in his eyes,” says Rodriguez.

His journey toward radical transformation began with eyeball tattoos, followed by 15 more surgeries. The total cost of all procedures was about £27,255.

The most extreme change was the removal of part of his nose, to closely match the look of a comic book character.

When asked what he would say to his son if he wanted to follow a similar path, Henry calmly replied: “I’d tell him to think it through. And wait until he’s grown up. These kinds of decisions shouldn’t be made impulsively.”
