I found her on a cold, early morning while walking along a quiet trail. Curled tightly against the frost-tipped grass,
she looked like a tiny newborn puppy—pink, hairless, and barely moving. She was so small and fragile that her breathing was almost impossible to see.
Without hesitation, I wrapped her gently in my scarf and brought her home, placing her in a shoebox beneath a warm lamp before rushing her to the nearest wildlife rescue center.
