Agustin Escobar, his wife, and their three young children.

wearing ear protection and holding life vests—

were initially posted online but were later taken down, only deepening the heartbreak,

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, though the helicopter reportedly appeared to be low on fuel shortly after takeoff.

The owner of New York Helicopters, visibly shaken, admitted they had no answers yet and were devastated by the loss.

The incident stunned both the public and officials, including former President Donald Trump,

who posted his condolences online Weather conditions at the time were cool and windy,

with decent visibility, leaving many questions about what exactly led to the tragedy.
