A Chinese restaurant in Madrid’s Usera district was shut down

after a shocking police raid revealed severe health code violations.

Authorities found unlabeled meat and fish, a cockroach-infested kitchen,

and a strong odor of rotten seafood.Worse still,

plucked pigeons—reportedly taken from the streets and kicked to death—

were found in the kitchen.

A hidden room behind a bathroom shelf contained

300 kg of spoiled food in rusted freezers,

along with rat traps and meat drying on a clothesline.

The restaurant, Jin Gu,

is now closed, and the owner is under

investigation for public health violations and animal cruelty.

Locals say,

they had reported the place multiple times,

and many avoided it due to its bad smell.

Despite this, the restaurant had a 4.2-star rating online—

with one reviewer calling the “roast duck” dry and full of bones.
