Rory Feek, a prominent figure in American country music,

Born on April 25, 1965, in Atchison, Kansas, Rory

initially made his mark behind the scenes, crafting hit songs for renowned artists such as Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney.

His path to performing took a significant turn in 2008 when he teamed up with his late wife

, Joey Martin, after their appearance on the CMT series
