A powerful 6.0 magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan,
followed by a 4.5 aftershock, shaking
several provinces and pushing frightened residents into the streets.
“Strong shaking was felt across several provinces,” early reports said,
as emergency teams began assessing the situation.
