I Lost It When I Saw My Fiance’s holiday Gift to Me after I Bought Him a PS5

A woman left her fiancé’s family holiday celebration early after receiving an appalling gift.

Despite saving for months to buy her fiancé the coveted PS5,

he reciprocated with a pack of toothpicks as part of a prank suggested by his younger sister.

The woman, who had expressed valuable gift preferences earlier, was shocked and humiliated.

The fiancé blamed his sister for the prank, but the woman, feeling disrespected,

yelled at him, and his family gathered to watch the argument.

She decided to spend the rest of holiday at her mom’s house, receiving criticism from her future mother-in-law

for supposedly ruining the mood.

Reddit users supported her, with one stating,

“I would have left too.

He just showed you that he doesn’t respect you and neither does his family.”

The next day, the fiancé apologized and presented the actual gift,

but the woman remained unconvinced.

Reddit users reassured her that her reaction was justified.
