The toddlers came running in, two with mismatched socks and one still wearing last night’s pajamas.

They piled into my lap, laughing, sticky hands and all. My husband gestured toward them.

“This is not chaos,” he said softly. “This is a home filled with growing, learning, loud little humans.”
