Last video of British couple on Air India flight reveals heartbreaking detail

A British couple behind a popular spiritual wellness brand in London shared a video from the airport just moments before boarding the doomed Air India flight that crashed shortly after takeoff on Thursday.

Jamie Ray Greenlaw-Meek and Fiongal Greenlaw-Meek, co-founders of

The Wellness Foundry, were among 53 British nationals booked on the

Air India flight, which was carrying 242 passengers when it went down minutes after departing.

In a video posted to their brand’s Instagram account, Fiongal (who previously worked as a fashion designer) tells followers,

“We are at the airport, just boarding. Goodbye India,” while his husband Jamie jokingly remarks about the long 10-hour flight ahead.

The pair, who had just completed a 10-day wellness retreat, described their time in India as a “magical experience”

and promised to share a vlog of their “mind-blowing” journey. In one clip, Jamie reflected on their final night: “We really have been on quite a journey.

We just spent the last night here in the most amazing hotel and had the most delicious Thali. It was the perfect way to round off the trip.”

Jamie’s brother, Nick Meek, said the couple had been due home that evening.

“We were expecting him to land at 6:30pm, then drive up to collect his dog from our mum’s house,” Nick said. “She’s not in a good way. It’s all very raw. We only found out a couple of hours ago.”

Footage of the crash has circulated widely online, showing the plane flying low over a residential area before it erupted into a fireball,

sending black smoke billowing into the sky. There is only one known survivor.

The couple’s business, The Wellness Foundry, is based in Vauxhall and offers tarot readings, psychic sessions, and aura interpretations.

The company has worked with high-profile clients including Netflix, Google, and Dior.

Fiongal launched the venture in 2018 after a spiritual awakening brought on by a mysterious illness. Jamie joined as co-director in 2023, adding life coaching and events to the business.

The pair have steadily built a public profile. Earlier this year, Fiongal appeared on

This Morning to discuss aura readings with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, an appearance they described as their “biggest gig so far,”

The Express details.

He has also made guest appearances on NewlyWeds, the podcast hosted by Made in Chelsea stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo,

where he offered tarot readings. The Wellness Foundry has been featured in Time Out, The Times, and the Daily Mail.

The couple married in 2022, sharing photos of a vibrant countryside wedding and a second ceremony in Las Vegas on their Instagram page.
