A serious accident that occurred on the SC-390 highway,

specifically on the stretch that crosses the municipality of Ipira,

located in the Midwest Region of Santa Catarina,

resulted in the tragic death of a 31-year-old

motorcyclist on the afternoon of this Saturday, the 7th.
The motorcyclist was riding

a luxury motorcycle, a BMW S1000 RR,

when the collision occurred.

The motorcycle, known for its

high performance and significant value,

was the vehicle involved in

the accident that attracted the attention of local authorities.

The accident also involved a Renault Sandero car,

which was driven by a 30-year-old woman.

The collision was head-on, which significantly increased the severity of the damage and injuries.

According to information provided by

officers of the Military Highway Police (PMRv),

the motorcyclist ended

up invading the opposite lane during a curve.

This driving error was

the main factor that led to

the head-on impact with the vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
