A newborn baby was found abandoned on a street in Córdoba,

after which he was taken by the police to the city’s Children’s Hospital.

The baby was found naked inside a shoebox,

discovered at the intersection of Alem and San Fernando Avenues,

in the General Mosconi neighborhood.

The boy was found early Saturday morning,

when temperatures were below 5 degrees,

by neighbors, who notified the police.

A patrol car rushed him to the Children’s Hospital,

At press time,

there was no information about his mother or the reasons why he was abandoned on the street.
