Not me, but my daughter

Not me, but my daughter. We were in a mall and had just arrived at the food court. My daughter (24) became furious and stated, “We need to leave! We need to leave now!”

I felt she was about to get sick, so I told her to get in the car, that I was going to get her siblings some lunch, and we’d be right out. She looked horrified and exclaimed, “NO!” We have to leave NOW!”

I had no idea what was wrong, so we rushed to the car. We were still in the parking lot 10 minutes later, stuck in traffic, when several police cars raced in with sirens activated. I discovered that a gang brawl had broken out in the food court where we had recently been. A dozen individuals were arrested.

We had no idea what she picked up on. There was no yelling or loud voices, no groups forming, and no people who seemed to be anything other than families having lunch. But she knew something was going to happen.
