Doña Lety  is a woman who, while she doesn’t have social media, is well-known for her videos asking for soda and complaining about the help offered by YouTuber Jaime Toral. However, the content creator has reportedly been accused of holding her hostage.

Leticia Gómez apparently managed to escape from the place where someone was holding her captive and went to a neighbor’s house, where she explained that a person named Toral was holding her.

The neighbor notified the authorities, and Doña Lety was rescued by members of the National Guard in Tantoyuca, Veracruz.

Local media outlet La Voz de Tantoyuca captured the moment when Doña Lety was leaving a property and was being put into a patrol car for assistance. Members of the National Guard, State Police,

and Municipal Police were helping her walk, as it is known that she lives with several chronic illnesses that complicate her movement.

According to the reporters, Doña Lety said that a man had her captive and that she was able to escape to seek help. If it was indeed the same YouTuber who exposed her, it would imply that all the videos published online about this woman were made without her consent.

For his part, the content creator has not issued any opinion on the matter; on both his Facebook page and his YouTube channel, he has dozens of videos helping people with limited resources and interviewing them about their needs.

At this time, there is no confirmation that this case is being investigated. Some people assume it is a lie by Doña Lety,

and others say they are shocked by the possibility that she was actually kidnapped, since the videos of this woman were released two years ago.
