I’ve always adored my daughter-in-law, Emily.

She’s kind, thoughtful, and has brought so much joy into our family.

As Christmas approached, I wanted to get her a special gift,

While shopping with my son,

”On Christmas morning,

Emily opened the gift. Silence filled the room.

She read the note, her eyes welling up with tears.

My son’s face turned red as he realized how much he had underestimated her efforts.

Emily hugged me tightly and whispered,
