The Restaurant Owner Mocked Me and Wanted to Kick Me out but That Meeting Changed…

I came for a simple job, holding onto the last bit of hope in my best dress.

The restaurant owner mocked me, and I thought it was the worst day of my life.

But little did I know, it would turn out to be the most important

.Life is unpredictable, and everything can change in a single day.

I went from having balance to nothing at all. I just wanted one peaceful day at the beach.I walked into a fancy restaurant hoping for temporary work.

The place felt out of my league, but I pushed through.

The manager mocked me too,

making things worse. But when I spilled wine on my best dress, the owner, a man in a suit, insulted me further, offering money to buy a new dress.

I refused and demanded to see the manager, but security was called instead, and I fainted.I woke up in the hospital, weak and confused.

The man from the restaurant, now named John, was there. He apologized, offering money to cover my treatment. I rejected him.

I only wanted my day at the beach, and now, I would never get it.Days passed, and I grew weaker.

But then, one evening, a nurse led me to a room transformed into a beach scene—sand, ocean smells, and a picnic set up.

John had made it happen for me, even bringing a new dress. As we ate and talked, we slowly began to connect,

Despite my illness, we spent time together, and I started to fall for him. But I feared my dying days would only hurt him.

He promised to make the most of the time we had left, and I tried to accept thatOne night, I woke up to find John speaking to the nurse in the hall.

They couldn’t do anything more. I went back to bed, accepting my fate. But then, I woke up in Rome,

not the afterlife as I thought, but at a clinic offering experimental treatment. John had arranged it. He sold everything to be with me, and I might live after all.

As I processed this, I smiled. “We can go to a real beach now, but you have to bring food from your restaurant,” I said. He smiled back. “I don’t have a restaurant anymore

. Now I have something more valuable… you.”We embraced, and for the first time in a long time, I felt hopeful.
