Trump Doubles Down, Hints At RICO Probe Into George Soros Orgs

On Friday, President Donald Trump said that his administration will look into billionaire George Soros and his family for possible RICO (racketeering) charges.

He said they might be involved in paying for protests and civil unrest all over the U.S. Trump said on Fox & Friends,

“We’re going to look into Soros…” I believe that he and other people are guilty of RICO.

The RICO Act is a federal law that is usually used to go after organized crime groups.

It requires prosecutors to show that there is a pattern of criminal activity within a coordinated business.

Trump says that Soros and his friends are paying protesters,

which makes it seem like the protests are more than just free speech and are actually planned actions that are meant to destabilize the U.S.

This is the most aggressive thing Trump has said about Soros, a longtime Democratic donor and frequent target of conservatives.

Trump had already hinted at this on Truth Social, where he called Soros and his son “psychopaths” and said they were paying for “violent protests” and “ripping America apart.” He also said he would take legal action against them.

The Open Society Foundations, Soros’ charitable group, denied the claims and said they do not give money or support violent protests.

They said that the threats of prosecution were “outrageous.” Soros, who is 94 years old, has been giving money to progressive causes for decades.

His son Alex Soros is now the head of the foundation and has become more involved in politics.

Trump linked the proposed investigation to the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot at a campus event in Utah.

Trump called the murder “political violence at its worst”

and promised to hold not only the killer but also any networks or people who indirectly support political violence accountable.

Trump is focusing on rich liberal donors and protest groups as he steps up his law-and-order messaging ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Some of Trump’s supporters say that RICO could apply if it can be shown that Soros gave money to violent protests

but the Justice Department has not said whether or not there is an official investigation into Soros.
