She finally made the bold decision to meet him in Africa, where their

connection quickly turned into love. They married shortly afterward, and despite their 18-year age difference, Natalia didn’t let that bother her.

After their marriage, the couple moved to Russia. Although Powell held a royal position

in Nigeria, he didn’t hesitate to work as a tractor driver to provide for his family. Natalia, already a mother to an adult child from a previous marriage,

wanted to have another child with Powell. After undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF), she gave birth to twins Daniel and David.

Contentment seemed to be on the horizon for the couple, but fate had other plans. At just 34 years old,

Gabriel tragically passed away, leaving Natalia a widow with her young children. Although it was a huge shock,

Natalia found the strength to continue raising her children while slowly rediscovering love.

Some time later, she met a new partner, also younger than her, aged 32. They had planned to marry,

but the pandemic changed their plans. Deciding to look for a partner in Russia,

Natalia found an even younger man, 25 years old, which surprised her relatives.

The twins are growing up well and increasingly resemble their father. They are enrolled in kindergarten,

spend time with their friends, and are living a normal childhood despite the unusual circumstances of their story.

Natalia stays in touch with her late husband’s family, who helps her raise her children. She hopes to one day take her sons to Nigeria to allow them to discover the culture of their roots.
