During Pope Francis’ burial in Rome,
a historic and unexpected moment took place inside St. Peter’s Basilica.
President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky
paused during the solemn ceremony for a private conversation,
described by all parties as “productive” and “symbolic.”
According to Zelensky’s office, they discussed securing peace,
protecting civilian lives,
and achieving a full ceasefire in Ukraine.
Zelensky called the meeting a rare chance to
