Hearty Meat Lovers Pizza Tortellini

Ingredients:

Tortellini:

Ingredient Quantity
Tortellini pasta 12 ounces

Meat Mixture:

Ingredient Quantity
Italian ground sausage ½ pound
Yellow onion, diced ½ medium
Ground beef 1 pound
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon

Toppings:

Ingredient Quantity
Mozzarella cheese 2 cups
Cooked chopped bacon ½ cup
Sliced pepperoni As desired
Pizza sauce 24 ounces

Instructions:

Cook the Tortellini:

Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Meat Mixture:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sauté the onion until softened.

Add ground beef and Italian sausage, cook until browned.

Add garlic and Italian seasoning, cook for 1 minute.

Combine Ingredients:

Drain excess grease from the skillet.

Add cooked bacon to the meat mixture.

Pour in pizza sauce and add cooked tortellini.

Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Finish and Serve:

Top with mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperoni.

Cover the skillet, turn off heat, and let sit until cheese is melted.

Serve immediately.
