While on maternity leave, my days are filled with feeding, soothing, and caring for our newborn, Sean.
Sleep is a distant memory, and even eating lunch feels like a luxury. By the time my husband,
Trey, comes home, the house often looks chaotic laundry piles up, dishes fill the sink,

As he read, his face shifted from shock to guilt.
“This is… exhausting,” he whispered. “Exactly,” I said.
