When my husband asked why I didn’t thank him for the flowers he sent,

I was confused — I hadn’t received anything.

At first, I thought it was a delivery mistake.

She apologized sincerely, embarrassed and a little emotional.

Turned out, she lived alone and believed someone was secretly cheering her up.
