The Learjet 60 was reportedly traveling from Austin, Texas, to North Eleuthera in the Bahamas when it crashed near Military Trail in Greenacres on November 1. Video shared online appears to show a man and woman walking without shoes near damaged pavement and debris. Their presence prompted alarm over the danger underfoot, but other commenters urged compassion, suggesting they might be nearby residents caught off guard. The pair’s circumstances remain unclear in the supplied account.

Reported air traffic control recordings describe an increasingly desperate situation aboard the aircraft. After reporting icing and turbulence, the crew requested a climb before declaring an emergency during a rapid descent. The pilot’s reported final words were: “We’re going to crash into the ground.” Governor Ron DeSantis said there were no immediate reports of casualties on the ground. Authorities closed part of Military Trail as emergency crews responded, leaving the investigation to establish what happened.
