The rangers initially watched from a distance before moving closer and confirming that the anaconda was no longer alive.
One enlarged section of its body stood out, prompting them to investigate what it had swallowed.
As they carefully opened that area, they discovered a large animal inside, recently consumed and still recognizable.
Its size explained the striking bulge, although the account does not identify the prey or establish precisely why the snake died.
The discovery suggested that the anaconda’s final meal may have proved too much for it, but that possibility is not a confirmed cause of death.
What remained was a sobering scene: a powerful predator lying lifeless, with its last prey still inside.
For those who found it, the encounter offered a stark reminder that strength does not guarantee survival.
In the forest, even an animal capable of overpowering formidable prey remains vulnerable to the risks of survival.
